Edifice Gallery uses a top of the line, Epson 9800 Stylus Pro for high-quality, professional, giclee printing. We only use genuine Epson UltraChrome K3 pigment based inks which produce archival prints with amazing color fidelity, gloss level, and scratch resistance, while providing consistently stable colors that significantly outperform lesser ink technologies. The printer uses 8 different ink colors, and has a much wider color gamut than traditional 4-color processes. With 3 different levels of black, it is also the perfect choice for professional neutral and toned black and white prints with higher density value levels. Independent research has found that UltraChrome inks are capable of lasting at least 92 years under normal viewing conditions without showing any damage from UV and ambient light, ozone, and environmental pollutants.

Our printer can print borderless prints up to 44” x 100”, on several different substrates including, photo papers, canvas, thick watercolor sheet papers, foldable “poster” paper, transparencies, as well as fine art papers appropriate for limited edition prints.

Incredible technology is worthless if the operator doesn’t know how to utilize it. I have personally used professional giclee printers since 1999, and have specialized in large format printing since 2003. My emphasis has always been in printing fine art and photography, including limited edition artwork.
