I agreed because I believe that this has potential to be something quite huge, and that it will end up having a very positive effect on the city.

The idea is to pick up a postage-paid postcard from one of many locations in Colorado Springs, draw your idea on the back, and then send it in. When your postcard gets published a few days later, you tell everyone you know to go look at it on the site. Easy, right?
